Punjabi - Christ Arjan says that His Word is Nectar that you enjoy in this world and assures you Salvation.

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੫ ॥ सलोक मः ५ ॥ Salok mėhlā 5. Shalok, Fifth Mehl:
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਮਿਉ ਰਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥ अम्रित बाणी अमिउ रसु अम्रितु हरि का नाउ ॥ Amriṯ baṇī ami▫o ras amriṯ har kā nā▫o. The Bani of the Guru's Word is Ambrosial Nectar; its taste is sweet. The Name of the Lord is Ambrosial Nectar.
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ॥ मनि तनि हिरदै सिमरि हरि आठ पहर गुण गाउ ॥ Man ṯan hirḏai simar har āṯẖ pahar guṇ gā▫o. Meditate in remembrance on the Lord in your mind, body and heart; twenty-four hours a day, sing His Glorious Praises.
ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਤੁਮ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਹੁ ਸਚਾ ਇਹੈ ਸੁਆਉ ॥ उपदेसु सुणहु तुम गुरसिखहु सचा इहै सुआउ ॥ Upḏes suṇhu ṯum gursikẖahu sacẖā ihai su▫ā▫o. Listen to these Teachings, O Sikhs of the Guru. This is the true purpose of life.
ਜਨਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਸਫਲੁ ਹੋਇ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਲਾਇਹੁ ਭਾਉ ॥ जनमु पदारथु सफलु होइ मन महि लाइहु भाउ ॥ Janam paḏārath safal ho▫e man mėh lā▫ihu bẖā▫o. This priceless human life will be made fruitful; embrace love for the Lord in your mind.
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨਦੁ ਘਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਪਤਿਆ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥ सूख सहज आनदु घणा प्रभ जपतिआ दुखु जाइ ॥ Sūkẖ sahj ānaḏ gẖaṇā parabẖ japṯi▫ā ḏukẖ jā▫e. Celestial peace and absolute bliss come when one meditates on God - suffering is dispelled.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਸੁਖੁ ਊਪਜੈ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਈਐ ਥਾਉ ॥੧॥ नानक नामु जपत सुखु ऊपजै दरगह पाईऐ थाउ ॥१॥ Nānak nām japaṯ sukẖ ūpjai ḏargėh pā▫ī▫ai thā▫o. ||1|| O Nanak, chanting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, peace wells up, and one obtains a place in the Court of the Lord. ||1||
ਮਃ ੫ ॥ मः ५ ॥ Mėhlā 5. Fifth Mehl:
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਮਤਿ ਦੇਇ ॥ नानक नामु धिआईऐ गुरु पूरा मति देइ ॥ Nānak nām ḏẖi▫ā▫ī▫ai gur pūrā maṯ ḏe▫e. O Nanak, meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord; this is the Teaching imparted by the Perfect Guru.
ਭਾਣੈ ਜਪ ਤਪ ਸੰਜਮੋ ਭਾਣੈ ਹੀ ਕਢਿ ਲੇਇ ॥ भाणै जप तप संजमो भाणै ही कढि लेइ ॥ Bẖāṇai jap ṯap sanjamo bẖāṇai hī kadẖ le▫e. In the Lord's Will, they practice meditation, austerity and self-discipline; in the Lord's Will, they are released.
ਭਾਣੈ ਜੋਨਿ ਭਵਾਈਐ ਭਾਣੈ ਬਖਸ ਕਰੇਇ ॥ भाणै जोनि भवाईऐ भाणै बखस करेइ ॥ Bẖāṇai jon bẖavā▫ī▫ai bẖāṇai bakẖas kare▫i. In the Lord's Will, they are made to wander in reincarnation; in the Lord's Will, they are forgiven.
ਭਾਣੈ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਭੋਗੀਐ ਭਾਣੈ ਕਰਮ ਕਰੇਇ ॥ भाणै दुखु सुखु भोगीऐ भाणै करम करेइ ॥ Bẖāṇai ḏukẖ sukẖ bẖogī▫ai bẖāṇai karam kare▫i. In the Lord's Will, pain and pleasure are experienced; in the Lord's Will, actions are performed.
ਭਾਣੈ ਮਿਟੀ ਸਾਜਿ ਕੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਜੋਤਿ ਧਰੇਇ ॥ भाणै मिटी साजि कै भाणै जोति धरेइ ॥ Bẖāṇai mitī sāj kai bẖāṇai joṯ ḏẖare▫e. In the Lord's Will, clay is fashioned into form; in the Lord's Will, His Light is infused into it.
ਭਾਣੈ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗਾਇਦਾ ਭਾਣੈ ਮਨਹਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥ भाणै भोग भोगाइदा भाणै मनहि करेइ ॥ Bẖāṇai bẖog bẖogā▫iḏā bẖāṇai manėh kare▫i. In the Lord's Will, enjoyments are enjoyed; in the Lord's Will, these enjoyments are denied.
ਭਾਣੈ ਨਰਕਿ ਸੁਰਗਿ ਅਉਤਾਰੇ ਭਾਣੈ ਧਰਣਿ ਪਰੇਇ ॥ भाणै नरकि सुरगि अउतारे भाणै धरणि परेइ ॥ Bẖāṇai narak surag a▫uṯāre bẖāṇai ḏẖaraṇ pare▫e. In the Lord's Will, they are incarnated in heaven and hell; in the Lord's Will, they fall to the ground.
ਭਾਣੈ ਹੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਾਏ ਨਾਨਕ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਹੇ ॥੨॥ भाणै ही जिसु भगती लाए नानक विरले हे ॥२॥ Bẖāṇai hī jis bẖagṯī lā▫e Nānak virle he. ||2|| In the Lord's Will, they are committed to His devotional worship and Praise; O Nanak, how rare are these! ||2||
ਪਉੜੀ ॥ पउड़ी ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Pauree:
ਵਡਿਆਈ ਸਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਹਉ ਜੀਵਾ ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣੇ ॥ वडिआई सचे नाम की हउ जीवा सुणि सुणे ॥ vadi▫ā▫ī sacẖe nām kī ha▫o jīvā suṇ suṇe. Hearing, hearing of the glorious greatness of the True Name, I live.
ਪਸੂ ਪਰੇਤ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਉਧਾਰੇ ਇਕ ਖਣੇ ॥ पसू परेत अगिआन उधारे इक खणे ॥ Pasū pareṯ agi▫ān uḏẖāre ik kẖaṇe. Even ignorant beasts and goblins can be saved, in an instant.
ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਜਾਪੀਐ ॥ दिनसु रैणि तेरा नाउ सदा सद जापीऐ ॥ Ḏinas raiṇ ṯerā nā▫o saḏā saḏ jāpī▫ai. Day and night, chant the Name, forever and ever.
ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਭੁਖ ਵਿਕਰਾਲ ਨਾਇ ਤੇਰੈ ਧ੍ਰਾਪੀਐ ॥ त्रिसना भुख विकराल नाइ तेरै ध्रापीऐ ॥ Ŧarisnā bẖukẖ vikrāl nā▫e ṯerai ḏẖarāpī▫ai. The most horrible thirst and hunger is satisfied through Your Name, O Lord.
ਰੋਗੁ ਸੋਗੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਵੰਞੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਨਾਉ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ॥ रोगु सोगु दुखु वंञै जिसु नाउ मनि वसै ॥ Rog sog ḏukẖ vañai jis nā▫o man vasai. Disease, sorrow and pain run away, when the Name dwells within the mind.
ਤਿਸਹਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਲਾਲੁ ਜੋ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਰਸੈ ॥ तिसहि परापति लालु जो गुर सबदी रसै ॥ Ŧisėh parāpaṯ lāl jo gur sabḏī rasai. He alone attains his Beloved, who loves the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
ਖੰਡ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਉਧਾਰਣਹਾਰਿਆ ॥ खंड ब्रहमंड बेअंत उधारणहारिआ ॥ Kẖand barahmand be▫anṯ uḏẖāraṇhāri▫ā. The worlds and solar systems are saved by the Infinite Lord.
ਤੇਰੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਤੁਧੁ ਸਚੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ॥੧੨॥ तेरी सोभा तुधु सचे मेरे पिआरिआ ॥१२॥ Ŧerī sobẖā ṯuḏẖ sacẖe mere pi▫āri▫ā. ||12|| Your glory is Yours alone, O my Beloved True Lord. ||12||
